How to Convert GTU SGPA to Percentage?

1. The Official GTU Formula

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has published an official notification stating the exact conversion formula to convert your SGPA/CGPA to percentage is:
Percentage = (SGPA / CGPA - 0.5) ร— 10

2. Stop Using the CBSE Method!

Many first-year engineering students make the mistake of multiplying their SGPA by 9.5 or 10. This is strictly incorrect for GTU and will result in your scholarship application being flagged or rejected for incorrect data.

3. Mandatory for MYSY & CMSS

When applying via the Digital Gujarat portal for the MYSY Scholarship or the CMSS Scholarship, the form dropdown does not accept SGPA or CGPA. You are legally required to enter your equivalent percentage.
